Pegged

We went to the site for a visit today. My CSA had advised that the site had been pegged the week before. Therefore, I wanted to see it with my own eyes.

The pegs were there! Although I couldn't make too much sense out of what they are supposed to be measurements for. My understanding was that they are used for the slab. Certainly the neighbouring lot and their pegs suggested that. Our pegs seem to be a lot further back than where the slab is supposed to end.

Anyway, the other surprise was that the neighbouring builders decided to open their fence and put their water tank on our side! Although I'm not too concerned at the moment they will need to have it removed in a week or two when our excavation work will begin. I might have to give landcom a call to get in touch with the neighbours if it's still there.

Some photos from our visit:

Neighbours water tank for builders in line with our peg.

More visible shot of water tank invading our property.

The peg on front left side of lot.

Peg @ front right side of lot (near water connections).

Rear right peg with Ed Parks first built house in the background.

                                           Neighbours half built double storey...

Neighbours diagonal has slab currently curing. It looked half cured. Good to know that one is singe storey too. You can see how far our rear peg is located.
